MARYVILLE, Mo. - 19 years after terror struck, Northwest Missouri State University is hosting a 9/11 stair climb this Thursday at Bearcat Stadium to honor and raise awareness for the 343 firefighters who died that day.
Northwest's Director of Partnerships and Placement Jill Brown told KXCV/KRNW that anyone is welcome to participate and does not have to complete the full 58 laps.
Brown added that she's looking for volunteers to serve as cheerleaders. You can contact Brown at jillb@nwmissouri.edu.
